Matthew J. McCarville
CIO of State of Nebraska
Dr. Matthew McCarville is a results-driven executive with extensive leadership experience in higher education, government, and global consulting. He has served in roles such as Chief Information Officer, Chief Data Officer, and Vice Chancellor, where he led complex operations, large teams, and budget innovation. As a first-generation college graduate and Creighton University alumnus, Dr. McCarville’s journey includes overcoming significant personal challenges, including surviving Hodgkin's Lymphoma and a PCA stroke. His consulting work with MTX Consulting Group and PwC included international strategy and the implementation of data-driven technologies like AI/ML and robotic process automation. In the public sector, including his role as Florida’s CDO, he drove efficiency and transparency through innovative data governance strategies. A passionate educator, he has taught at R1 institutions and remains active on global advisory boards and as a speaker on data and technology.
Michael G. Leahy
Vice President, National IT Strategy, Government Sourcing Solutions

Michael G. Leahy has served in roles at the local, state and federal level and developed a reputation for critical thinking and action as a regulator, attorney and executive. Most recently prior to joining Government Sourcing Solutions, Mr. Leahy served as the Maryland Secretary of Information Technology during the Hogan administration. He was also the President of the National Association of State Chief Information Officers in 2021 - 2022 after leading the organization's privacy and enterprise architecture forums. Mr. Leahy regularly focuses on privacy and AI governance matters and has served on various committees of the IAPP since obtaining his CIPP in 2011.

Dan Clarke
President, Truyo

Dan Clarke is a former Intel® executive with numerous leadership roles who was pulled into the privacy space after a call from Intel® anticipating GDPR’s implementation. Dan’s privacy expertise comes from developing the Truyo platform, which automates compliance with current and emerging privacy laws for enterprise-level companies. Clarke is a privacy thought leader involved in Arizona, Texas, and federal privacy legislation. Dan helped Truyo step into the AI Governance realm by developing the first comprehensive AI Governance Platform and creating a 5 Steps to Defensible AI Governance workshop that's been conducted with enterprise companies across the United States.
